Collection: Sapta Apsara - 7 Sister Goddesses

In Indian mythology, Apsaras are beautiful, supernatural female beings. They are youthful and elegant, and gifted in the art of dancing. They dance in the palaces of the gods and can be charming, passionate and seductive.  A talisman is an object that has spiritual powers to protect and benefit the wearer.  Normally depicted as a group of seven sisters, as the number seven is an extremely auspicious number in India, it is common to see an eighth character standing with the Apsaras, which is a brother figure.  The Apsaras are ethereal goddesses who inhabit the skies and may be compared to angels.  Each pendant is unique, no two are exactly the same.
